I guess it varies by region but does your area really remove a mag limit for invasive species? In my area theres no season, and no limit for invasive but firearms laws still apply which grossly limit my magazine
My area doesn't have a mag limit at all except for migratory fowl which is a fed deal. As for deer, bear and small game you can run a 50 rd mag or a 100 rd drum if you want to carry all that weight. I run 30 rd mags in my AR's and M249 when shooting hogs.
I guess fanada is different. Our waterfowl regulations come from nafta, so they are the same in terms of non lead shot, 3 round limit.
But they also did away with the deadly high magazine capacity of the fearsome. 22 rifle. So I can't even use my 25 round banana clip for grouse. Gottq buy multiple 4 round mags to be legal. And its not like they even have the courtesy to pay me back for all the gear I can't use, or provide free legal ones.
And don't get me started on IR gear they just banned it after selling it for years at camel's/wholesale sporting goods
That's just sad. We hunt hogs with full auto, hence the M249 (SAW). I run suppressors on almost all my weapons. There's nothing as sweet as being able to plainly hear that "thwump" on impact.
