When I was a teenager my mother volunteered to look after this kid while his brother spent the day in Cancer treatment. The issue was this kid had ADD and was hard to deal with. For my mother it meant she got to do a little virtue signaling while I was the one that stayed with the kid. He wasn't on medication and he didn't have ADD either, he was just a normal fucking kid and never got any attention. A lot of times medicated kids are just kids adults don't want to deal with.
