There were 2 kids in my 4th grade that had to take ritalin or the whole class effectively shut down due to their shenanigans. I think kids like that should be put into a trade school or something hands on, building shit, instead of trying to force a round peg into a square hole.

Fourth grade was bullshit. Creative writing was "look at this picture and write a story" not "choose a picture and write a story" the entire exercise was inherently not creative.

My behavior was so bad in the 4th grade that they put me in the fucking retard class for a couple of days. Then one of the advanced placement teachers came in and pulled me out. I was in honors classes the rest of my grade school days.
I mean, my behavior was still bad after that, but not as bad because the schoolwork was not brain dead easy.
I went to a country ish niggerish school that had an equal amount of Whites and a few spics. And all of the AP kids were White except for maybe one or two niglets lol

The problem with schools is that the teacher paces the class to accommodate the slowest learners, while the smart and above average kids are bored shitless.

The real problem is school is just a prison for children so their parents can go work jobs to pay taxes to support child prisons. People should raise their own damn kids.

They had a meeting because I wasn't where they felt I should have been and ignored the fact I was reading a 500+ plus page book with 8pt font because the mini-book report we had to give was a bullshit exercise and cemented in stone that meetings were just a time waster. I swear I had some of the laziest teachers in middle school that could ruin anything if they were doing the narration.

When I was a teenager my mother volunteered to look after this kid while his brother spent the day in Cancer treatment. The issue was this kid had ADD and was hard to deal with. For my mother it meant she got to do a little virtue signaling while I was the one that stayed with the kid. He wasn't on medication and he didn't have ADD either, he was just a normal fucking kid and never got any attention. A lot of times medicated kids are just kids adults don't want to deal with.

I used to date a girl whose room-mate was a teacher. This room-mate would describe perfectly normal kid behavior and cry and moan about how these kids needed to be medicated. I would argue with her (pointlessly) about this, and she would dig her heels in and never even consider that she could be wrong. After all, she was a "teacher", she knows all about kids!
