Would you give up all all your modern conveniences to travel back in time and have a shot at owning a house? I'd invite you to check the cost of other goods back then and adjust to inflation. What would you have paid for a TV, a car or a plane ticket. Everything that could be made cheaper has become cheaper. Land cannot be made cheaper.
