It's in the third movie no one watched after the second movie bombed. Turns out he wasn't the one all along and everything before that was bullshit. He was just there to aloha snackbar and open the way for the future of humanity, which is of course black and female.

All I remember about the third movie is when Agent Smith, a computer program, showed up in the real world. The explanation for which is that it was "inevitable". I assumed this meant the real world was a second matrix butt hat didn't turn out to be the case. It was just nonsense, like the entire movie.

They're really shitty screenwriters, I think they just lucked out with the first movie. Did you see Jupiter Rising?

It's sort of like how the same director made Batman & Robin as well as 8MM. Seems impossible. Maybe it was all the assistant directors and producers (who people love to hate) keeping the movie in line. Like with George Lucas, a total hack fraud who took credit for everyone else's work on Star Wars, there is no way he had that much influence.
