People with bidets
Bidet master race
Because it's all about brand recognition.
Pajeets & crackheads.
I may start using that as a default answer, no matter what the context.
Imagine a street shitter from India who comes to America, the first time he uses a real toilet and wipes himself with Charmin. It must be like dying and going to Hindu heaven.
Imagine a street shitter skipping TP and going straight to a bidet. Pure Nirvana.
Nirvana? Sounds more like a pure foo fighter to me.
The same could be said about toothpaste and soap and bread etc etc etc. The point is market share. When your market is large -- and for national brands that means your market is the whole country -- then increasing sales even 1% means a lot. Sure everyone buys TP, the point is to get them to buy your TP.
