Uh... I know many of you will hate me for this comment, but wasn't the snake right?
In the Adam and Eve story, "God" wanted to keep naked boys and girls a naked boy and girl in paradise. All of their desires fulfilled. All of their needs cared for. The snake offered the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
How is realizing that you are being kept naked in a garden of earthly delights as a prisoner (remember those fiery swords that prevented your leaving Eden) a bad thing?
This is the root question of all 3 Abrahamic religions. It's a jew question. Islam means "submission". Christianity means letting people fuck you over and forgiving them....loving them.
Yeah this meme is kinda funny but ultimately its stuck within THEIR Matrix / cast of characters.
Also...aren't we talking about the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil? Isn't Knowledge of these important concepts important? I believe there is a rather spooky line in the bible about "becoming like Us" as well. Very strange stuff.
Varg Vikernes explained that the Snake has been subverted. In European tradition, he says the snake represents the umbilical cord which delivers nourishment to the baby, Eden is the mothers womb. We are forced out of Eden when we are born essentially. You understand that the cannanite sky god child sacrificing moloch worshipping saturn cult takes our traditions and subverts them right. Like the whole concept of Evergreen trees getting associated with Christmas.
Worshipping Yahweh isn't European / Aryan and this is why Poal and all Aryan-centric platforms have a bit of a rift between Christians and those of us who wish to preserve the pre-christian european tradition, culture and magickal practices of our people.
Ultimately at this stage I try to make peace with Christians in the hopes that we can still procreate for the survival of the genetic code / phenotypes.
I love you all.
I stand in awe of what you have accomplished.
The only goal in life is to do good.
....that means a lot of things to lots of people.
My only goal in life is to catch a penguin.
Whatcha gonna do with the penguin once you catch em?
(remember those fiery swords that prevented your leaving Eden)
No.
