You still think they're eating it, huh? That's cute. They're trading the meat (and any other consumer goods they can buy with an EBT card) for drugs. They have been for years. It's a whole secondary economy subsidized by tax dollars.
I'm talking about Costco not the asian food markets in the black hood. Much easier to get cash for your EBT from the asians and muzzies than to sell them food from Costco. It's not a police problem and social services have no enforcement. I'm very familiar with the EBT to cash economy, thanks anyway.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. Getting cash for your EBT gets you busted for fraud by the state. And enough of them have been prosecuted for it that they take the safer route of just using it to buy a shopping cart full of steaks and trading those for crack, which doesn't.
