I remember many years ago watching a chief making tofu nuggets and frying them. He didn't even put them in breading, just shaped them from a brick of tofu. When he pulled them out of the fryer they looked like McDonald's chicken nuggets.

After trying foods made with tofu as an adult I know for sure as a kid I would have been pissed to be given those in place of real chicken nuggets.

Still not sure how anyone can look at tofu and soy foods and think that's healthy for you.
