You could fairly argue that but i dont think anyone ever considered it a gang. It was a vigilante group, they never ran drug trades or human trafficking as far as i know, unless they were returning slaves back to jews.

the KKK was basically what police should be. they did lynch uppity niggers, however they also protected black neighborhoods equally to whote ones.(black people generally had a positive opinion of the KKK). their primary service however was lynching (((carpetbaggers))).

it wasnt until some glownigger revived it that it got the treatment it does now.
