Well, you don't want to be shooting down into your own trunk, do you? That's just dumb.

I have heard that, if its a wagon with fold-down back seats, the rear floorboards can also be a viable alternative. YMMV. (Get it? Car? Mileage?) Bah-dum-bum-teesh.
