That's a good one.

I remember what an upgrade that was compared .

[–] 3 pts

Holy shit, I 'member. It's been so long, forgot those even existed.

[–] 1 pt

Damn. I think I might still have the one from the TV we had while growing up in a box someplace.

[–] 1 pt

I still have a working Color Computer III and this switch box to go with it.

This would confuse zoomers. Not millennials.

[–] 1 pt

Remember when Millennials meant Gen Y and Gen Z?

Peperriage farm remembers.

[–] 9 pts

At this point millennials are between 30 and 40 years old. I think anyone that remembers the 90's knows what these are.

[–] 0 pt

Yes if course, I infact know how to use component cables, composite cables, AV inverters to cable, Tune TV signals on tube TVs with no coax. So piss off. It's gen Z that's fucked with these devices.

[–] 0 pt

Then why does it say millenial instead of gen z?

[–] 6 pts

Dude. Millenials grew up on these. TF you talkin bout?

[–] 2 pts

Right? If you're a millennial who ever had a game console, growing up, you know exactly what these were.

[–] 0 pt

yeah but you needed your gen x relatives to hook them up for you

[–] 2 pts

No. No. Actually i was the one that was always told to hook it up for em bc they were too laxy to get back behind the tv to hook it up. Also my hdtvs still have some of those ports to this day. Early hdmi was the bblue red green inputs.

Coax and composite are the quintessential millennial console hookups. I think you mean gen-z. Remember, some of the first millennials graduated high school 20 years ago.

I've seen definitions of millenial that include everyone currently 25-40 years old, but that doesn't seem to make sense to me. The real definition of millenial is anyone who was born 1982-1992-ish, graduated high school in the 00's, and are the youngest generation of people who can sort of remember pre-internet life.

[–] 1 pt

Jokes on you, my internet-life started long before any of my peers. You ever even dial-in to a BBS in the middle of the night, to download games and music that your parents didn't want to buy, bro? By the time dial-up internet came around, I was already ready to fuck shit up.

... I didn't have a lot of friends, as a kid.

[–] 2 pts

Hey i got 3 for 3. What is a millennial though? i thought it was people who grew up during the new millennium so born early-mid 90s, that was me and i grew up with this shit. People were shitting on millennials in 2010 at least, if it were people born in the new millennium then that seems pretty premature since they'd only be 21 max now.

[–] 3 pts

people that were children in the 90s is the one thing everyone agrees on, some include the 80s, and others include the 00s.

i dont think age much matters, and that a millennial is anyone that grew up in the lawless internet before the kikes destroyed it.

I dont get these 'how to confuse millenials' posts then, millenials dealt with tons of different mediums, i was trying to tape my favorite songs on my fm radio as a kid, used to be able to record anything on the radio. Most music was shit but occasionally nirvana would play on the mainstream radio. I remember dubbing cassettes and winding them back with pencils, then CDs became the big thing but they were a fucking nuisance to pirate. Everyone had a friend who had the best burning software and everyone would ask him to pirate some disks. I remember making my own disc mixes as a teenager (when i started hating blacks and listened to only heavy metal) Then mp3 players came out but they were kind of shit. I had one with only 3 buttons and i memorized which order all my songs were in and couldnt tell what was playing due to lack of any user interface. Maybe how to confuse zoomers would be more appropriate.

I 'member bringing my friends over and showing them Napster, and seeing the look on their faces as if I just showed them some super 1337-h4xxx0r secr3t xXXSOCI3TYXXx shit. Good times.

Nirvana is shit

It used to be a term to group Gen Y & Gen Z together so the Boomers and Gen Xers had a shorthand when telling us to get off their lawn (:P). Then somewhere along the way, the media started referring to Gen Y as Millennials and now most people call Gen Z Zoomers.

[–] 0 pt

They typically get classified as people born between 80/81-96 or so.

[–] 1 pt

It took me a moment.

Lolz

[–] 1 pt

Left and right audio channels is the red and white.

[–] 0 pt

Millennials end at 1996, you're thinking of Gen Z
