I was just looking up an ar15 that chambers 7.62 so I wonder about better accuracy and there may still be the jamming issues.
Maybe saving for a really good ak47 with better accuracy. Article was saying 7.62 is way cheaper than 5.56
This gun thing is new to me. I usually hunt my deer with a chainsaw.

Would the ar with piston bolt shoot any more accurately than an ak? Or is it just better to get an ak.
If so what kind are best? My friend just got a wasr 10 for $800.
If you build an AR weapon platform with a piston driven bolt group and chambered .308 then yes I would say you have a weapon as good as an AK style rifle.
