I foresee a lot of electrical outtages so AI has no power no internet no card processors working. Hey thats the 4th electrical line cut this month next to the wallmart. How about jamming satallite dish transmissions since the dishes are on the store roofs and the computer servers all in rooms in the store. A computer virus and all transactions lost for the day or week since unlike money it's not physically safe in a room immune to digital worms. Hell people just sabotage your own phone if your fighting and give the store the virus in the transaction or through the wifi itself. Hell make it so the store gives everyone a 90% refund that day or doesn't even charge it since bitcoin takes times to calculate and a lot of energy. Hell knock out a bitcoin validating center or their power and the system grinds to a halt and likely corrupts the systems and a backup only backs up the OS but if they go down over and over they won't have a clean backup besides the one they have for one date so no profits after that date and the corruption is even in the data of sales and bitcoin numbers so in theory you could wipe out all debts that occured during a period with just killing the serves over and over or just a huge power surge or surges so breakers trip and finally the generator runs out of fuel and hard shutdown occurred over and over.
Or any actor, with state level skills, such as a foreign nation, could just take down the credit card data centers that process and house the ebt systems for america.

The thing is this would be a virus that looks for a database that has bitcoin signatures or card numbers so the welfare would be done by the government itself and if that happened with EBT the person at the state level would be having stores just take down the numbers with a promise the state will cover it later or they'd likely get shot or fired for the hate they would generate to the governor senators or reps they'd all vote to have the EBT just work on a promise and vote that into law till the system was back up again.

Yep, thats how I see them doing it.
It'd still disrupt things in a bad way for a week or two, at least regionally. If it happened now, it would either make the infrastructure bill fight worse as more is on the line, or likely force it through if the system being down lasted 1-2 weeks. The state would probably want to warn people in advance of "hackers trying to take down the ebt or credit card systems possibly!" to psychologically prep them and get them to stock up, leading to a run on the stores.
Actually they could use this entire mechanism for manufacturing "shortages" on demand. Of anything thats purchasable with foodstamps. Anywhere, any time. And it works in tandem with the "cyberfalseflags" and "cyberwarfare" narratives. And amplifies the racial divide because whites, being the majority on foodstamps, would see aid going to inner cities first, while having one more thing taken away. Pits the GOP against whites on fiscal matters, and raises the issue of "cyber security" (more power to monitor citizens).
