Building a strawman off of the most extreme and uncommon opinions while pretending the sentiment is a common one is not a good meme. This meme literally takes the differing opinion of different people and compares them as if the same person came to both conclusions. The people who think covid is a complete hoax are not taking anything. This meme conflates thinking the media/government is exaggerating with not believing the virus exists at all. If you have to lie to make it, then it is a bad meme. It is only funny to those who already believe the lies. It's like trying to gotcha someone who claims to be an atheist because someone who votes the same said the word God. It's stupid because of the level of exaggeration and conflation required to find it funny.
