You had some birds with particular genetics Did you note which hens layed them? Presumably you had one cock.

There wasn't anything special about them that I remember. I honestly can't remember what breed they were, but I'd have to say that they were Production Red based on the size of the eggs we were getting, and that the eggs were a lighter brown than what a RIR would produce.
We had several lots of the them over the years (they'd always end up in the freezer) but there were never more than 2 roosters in the lot.
