I think one means "The jew" and the other means "The jews"? I don't know.

e; Rofl that is precisely how it works. Apparently in German plurality is changed by the article of the noun while the noun remains the same.

I say Die Judenmaske “The Jew Mask” because Jews are feminine to me.
