Question: Why is SATIRE forbidden in a sub called "Funny?" Isn't satire one of the main types of comedy? I can see how political humor and memes are specialized subsets of "things that are funny," but satire is one of the pillars of Western humorous expression.

And where does Parody fit into the paradigm? Is it too satirical?

Way I figure it is, if the Hellenic Greeks did it, then it's white and all right.

Why is SATIRE forbidden in a sub called "Funny?"

Because like memes, satire has its own sub.

That's like creating a sub called "Sarcasm," or "Irony." Both too vague and too specific at the same time. My favorite sub is though. Because thoughts aren't like play-doh, and they can't all be crammed through a specifically-shaped opening. I suppose it's a matter of taste: My good taste versus other people's bad taste.
