I mean, we often have a lack of intellectualism around here unfortunately. Photoshopped images passed off as real, easily debunked claims like this... they make us look like idiots... as gay as reddit is, especially 5+ years ago, if a post was contentious, the top 2-5 comments would be well thought out and nuanced discussion... you could very quickly understand the basics of an argument. Sadly here, it's too common to see something that's just false, then just check the comments to find nothing but mouth-breathers and presumably alphabet bois agreeing in a chorus.

I do this but am usually attacked and called a Jew for doing so. Having people speak up and push against both sides is how you find truth. But Jews here claim that's pulpilling or some such shit.
When pointing out bullshit is attacked, you've identified useful idiots and shills.
This is what happens though. When people have legitimate concerns about anything in life, or are questioning the official narrative, you always get fuckwits who deliberately muddy the waters in an attempt to delegitimise said discussion.
I think I've seen it happen more often out of just wanting to help than actually attempting to delegitimize but both happen. We just need to be quicker to call it out and put them in their place... the Left tends to give them the wheel.
