Right but they will just look at this and shrug. That’s always been their argument, that a certain percentage of people have to get it otherwise it won’t work because no vaccine offers 100% protection to everybody. The idea is that if enough people get it, it leads to better overall immunity for the group. They’ve never made the claim that any vax is 100% effective for everyone that took it. Outside of the polio vaccine, and maybe another rare exception or two that they do claim approaches 100%. They make the same case with masks. *That’s actually why they insist that everyone wears one.* So I mean... Look, I know it’s bullshit too, but thinking this is some kind of “gotcha” is just stupid. They look at stuff like this and it reinforces the notion that our side doesn’t even understand how vaccines are supposed to work. That’s why I hate to see stuff like this.
