Some people are strong minded only after they've overcome their weak mindedness. Teenagers don't cope as easily as adults. Everyone is in a different stage of life. I was very thin skinned as a teen, and I learned how to grow a backbone over time. I couldn't criticize teens who are struggling to cope today without being a hypocrite having been there in the past.
