The universal healthcare is the thing you really have to avoid. I know we’re all suffering medical tyranny at the moment but when you have taxpayer funded healthcare there’s an underlying wave of medical tyranny all the time. So many ‘it’s for your own good’ laws can be passed with a justification of easing the burden on the taxpayer when the taxpayer funds the healthcare system. And the systems tend to be utter shite too which doesn’t help. Half of us have private health insurance while also funding the public system, and when granddaddy socialist and former effective IRA leader Gerry got sick he was straight to the evil capitalist US health system for treatment.
