I used to think Tattoos were okay for those in the navy who'd crossed the equator. Now, I think that they're a simple reminder that given the option ...most people value themselves and others so little that they'd do anything to it. There doesn't even need to be a reason for it either, just show people something they CAN do and they will. Not everyone mind you (I'm an adult and have never even considered getting one, or a piercing) but a good portion of the global population. It honestly makes me rethink the whole 500m world population proposal.
