Reeks of delusion of grandeur
Merely an alternative to the policy of: "Communists can attack and subvert US, but we can NEVER reclaim territory from communists". A policy which of course has led to losing in fact most of the planet to communism.
It's the "how", that bothers me with all those "grand marshal plans"

Usually I say "we" referring to the entire freedom oriented movement/part of the world. The USA was once a country of freedom minded people with indeed a large army.
It could happen again given time. In fact Singapore might be considered a very free nation at the moment.
