Yeah, you gotta take that with a grain of salt, though. If the cashier girl is young, she most likely doesn’t intend on doing that job forever. If she’s older, then yeah, she’s stuck and might be a bit more trouble than she’s worth.

Still, the job doesn’t matter. I think we can both agree that an ideal relationship would be one where she stays home to take care of the house and raise the kids while you go out and work.
