Kids just think there are dumpy houses and nice houses because big, bad meanies bought all the nice houses and made them too expensive for poor people. Poor people are forced to live in the dumpy houses, see. It's white supremacy. The ones that grow older and make a nice home for their families realize how much work it takes and that nice houses are nice because of an extraordinary amount of work and care.
