I haven't watched an Olympics Games in about 20 years and don't intend to watch this one. When you realize that professional sports (and that's what the Olympics is today) are only "bread and circuses" for the ignorant masses, they all blur together. Their ultimate purpose is to keep us distracted from what our overlords are doing to us. Besides, physical ability is relatively unimportant in human life -- it's mental ability that matters, and there is no Olympics for that; and if there were, the people wouldn't watch it anyway because it would be beyond their tiny sphere of experience and comprehension.
