When you think of money (not just fiat) as an analog to time and effort, who pays more? A subsistence farmer or an office drone?
I'm not saying one is better than the other, but the premise of this meme is rather silly.
but the point of the meme is monkeys and animals in general live free without spending their time for pointless money. but they also have to hunt and scavenge for food. humans dont. so the monkeys are literally trading their time for food. do you think a monkey spends 10+ hours a day hunting for food? no they dont. where as humans trade time, for money, and money for food. just go out and hunt your own food it saves you time and your money.
So in your mind the only thing needed to "live" (as the meme states) is food? If that's the case then, sure. Humans are retarded, and animals have it easy.
But, there's a lot more to living than that. A human can work 8 hours a day 5 days a week and do absolutely nothing for the other 2 days (could, not should). Imagine any animal sleeping all day and not worrying about predators for 2 days.... they would surely die. The meme is still silly.
So, be miserable for five days to have two days where you do nothing?
That's almost as stupid as working your ass off for 70 years, so you can have 10 actually enjoying life.
But then you only have food and nothing else. How else than work cna I buy a lot of gun shit?
