It's kind of odd when people you imagine have integrity cant even acknowledge their own mistakes. It's all so tiresome. You are forced to reckon with the sad truth that your friends and family simply are not able to adapt or learn from their own mistakes. They will spend the rest of their lives with dull observational skills, and a soulless appeal to authority.
