Only months before the plandemic Home Depot installed new self checkouts with a scanner gun only which I found to be suspicious. One of the now stand around do nothing clerks asked me how I liked the new system. I replied that quite frankly I wasn’t real keen about being forced to touch the scanner that every booger pick’n dick beater in the store just had his hands on. After the plandemic with all the plexiglass etc., the stand around do nothing clerks were now busy spraying and wiping down the bank card keyboards and tv sized touchscreens, but not once have I ever seen one wipe down that damn scan gun.
