My wife might be crazier than me when it comes to protecting the kids. I know she probably doesn't discuss everything with me, but when it comes to the kids and protecting them, she always keeps me in the loop. That's because, she may be crazier, but she knows I would do more damage and go on a fucking rampage on anyone in the vicinity of my youngins being harmed.

Speaking on the original post though, I think the cop (or whoever he was) was more worried about Gary. In my opinion, it was more of a, "Now you might go to prison instead of being there for your boy." The guy understood why. He was just bummed that the family was going to have to go through more bullshit.
True on the Gary shooting. That's why I'm sort of glad the little pervert's mom stepped in it gave me a second to get a grip on myself. It's a long story but it ends in tragedy I'd rather not talk about.

Yah. Then those well meaning relatives who were the same ones attacking me are the first to come and ask, "How're you doing?" Or, encourage you to move on or suggest you get over it. You don't "get over it", you just get used to it. Where were they when I needed someone in my corner? Where were they when my daughter was being violated and abused? And they call themselves Christians. I've carefully read the bible over and over and come to the realization that churches are nothing more than hive minds of hypocrisy with smooth talking leaders teaching feel good bullshit they make up to justify guilty spirits.
There is an evil spirit in most of humanity that seeks to destroy those of a gentle nature. There are those who wish to dominate and control others. They come with smooth words and flattery while wrecking anyone who refuses them or speaks the truth. They will coddle and render aid and comfort to bad actors because they wish to be seen as kind and merciful while at the same time attacking those who stand up and complain about being abused.
