It's not just the boomers. Here in Germany young people just don't want to work and lack ambition. It doesn't matter how much money you offer them. All most want is to land a job in the public sector and do as little as possible.

Lmao I've been in talks with software companies in Germany

What glue are you huffing to say in Germany "no matter how much money you offer people won't work"?

I just googled avg salary in Germany and it said about $50k. That means half of all people there make less than $50k

Obviously people still go to work in Germany. However, young people notoriously lack ambition and most will choose more spare time over money. We already have 6 full weeks of paid vacation not including sick leave, in many places a 36 hours week, yet people still complain about not being enough...

Did you read my comment at all? You say "no matter what we pay them"

Your pay in Germany is trash, even for highly skilled jobs like software (ESPECIALLY for software)

Dissaffected youth who are depressed because there are no opportunities like the boomers had, and never will be again, while simultaneously being berated and looked down upon by the generation who was supposed to support them and lift them up?

Color me surprised.

Weird... those opportunities were out there a year ago....

Really?

Where did you see a home for a family of 5, bought with a 10 year loan, that an average mechanic could afford?

And getting better daily until the election.
