It's not so simple. An inherently disobedient people would be unable to build or sustain a prosperous, enduring society. Haiti is an example of what results from a society composed of disobedient individuals who refuse to conform to norms or obey the laws. There is a balance, and we have slipped a little too far to the conformist side, but if we cross into the rebellious side, our society falls apart.
