Japan is a hard place if you are weak. Taxes are high. Women love fashion and brands so if you are a poor man, well that wont work. But things always change under hardship. But the new PM is thinking of allowing all kinds of shit into the country. So maybe robots and AI won't save them. On Robotics and AI: Japan has not invested one single yen into startups in this space. Only large corps. China, US, Canada spend more than Japan does. Also bankruptcy laws destroy lives here. Start a risky business, fail, never recover. That is the way here.
