Fuck Japan. They're extremely dysfunctional and they'd rather fuck robots and fap to cartoons than start a family. Their men are all effeminate sissies that live in their mom's house (do a search for Hikikomori). The men who work are so overworked their families don't even know them or care about them (do a search for chichioya fuzai). They're facing a population crisis because their women murder all of their babies. They have among the highest suicide rates of developed countries worldwide. Their economy is trapped in a deflationary debt spiral, they'll also be fucked the hardest when the US falls off the throne because they are one of our biggest debt holders (settled in the ever-inflating USD, of course). They live empty godless lives surrounded by useless junk and video games to help them fill the void. It's a really fucking sad existence and a warning to the rest of us. This whole "Japan is based" meme needs to stop.

It will be very interesting to see if they side with Chang or Chaim in the upcoming culture wars. If they don't do gay marriage soon it will probably be the former.

Japan is a hard place if you are weak. Taxes are high. Women love fashion and brands so if you are a poor man, well that wont work. But things always change under hardship. But the new PM is thinking of allowing all kinds of shit into the country. So maybe robots and AI won't save them.
On Robotics and AI: Japan has not invested one single yen into startups in this space. Only large corps. China, US, Canada spend more than Japan does.
Also bankruptcy laws destroy lives here. Start a risky business, fail, never recover. That is the way here.
