We whites recognize that nature is an unforgiving cunt and if you don't work, think, and prepare for each winter you fucking die slowly from starvation or faster and much more painfully from the cold.

That must be excruciatingly painful for maybe a week feeling your fingers and toes slowly freeze while the nerves work and the realization the entire time that it's unlikely that in the middle of winter back long ago anyone might find them and then living with those dead toes and finger will not be long since the flesh will kill you anyways from infection.

After the first few nights you know your dead in a year if found or a week if not.

True. We grew a huge garden and grandma canned stuff all summer. Our business was two miles away and when the roads became impassible due to snow grandpa said, "We'll walk." Turned out it's only one mile across the snow covered fields. We adapt, we overcome.

My first year as paper boy in my tiwn their was a blizzard. 92 I think. Rural western PA. I had to deliver the papers by sled. It took 4 hours forna route that usually took 1.

But we used to spend all day out in the snow for fun. We would free ride our snowboards by hiking through the woods to get to the tallest hill in the area. Then hike up it again. All day. Then go hime and play video games or get on the internet at 28.8k. You Don't Know Jack online was great.

Sounds like your grandmother was a wise hardworking woman that had experienced like mine the depression and then got smart, harder working and frugal and learned that you need something you work for it or make it yourself and if you can't then you buy the tools if needed and learn to do the stuff necessary to not die in a back to the wall situation.

My grandparents were strong and did that stuff also and worked even in their 50's harder and faster than the kids in their 20's or 30's could never work since they didn't have that decades of working muscle and just never quit character.

That that is something even myself is lacking, but though far late in the game I'm working on now since I see the alternative if I just sit on my ass is death or poverty or with the dems in office slavery is on the table and it sucks.

If not for myself then the young that are more aware than my generation was the the world is a play and we're just NPC's that don't realize we're NPC's back then or even a decade ago I was oblivious.

Now Trumps time in office they gave the entire setup away, the main players, the backups, the infrastructure like TV or the social media to keep up stupid and content with their crumbs or even less or jail if we didn't contribute to their wealth or happiness.

The social aspect of the internet was a mistake. Social media making it easy for anyone to communicate online was the worst thing to ever happen.

Think, it's a bred condition. You swim in Africa then you are eaten by Crocs or Hippo's or other predators that are far faster in the water than you could ever be.

I'd avoid the swimming in Africa also if I lived there unless the boat capsized then I'd swim my ass off to the closest shore without Crocs visible on or near it and the snakes are so unseen till the fangs penetrate.

So I can give them swimming since there were never pools to just take the lesson at for their ancestors. Besides are you going to be the one to accidentally splash water on a black womans hair, fuck no.

One winter I went walking on the beach at Border Field State Park south of San Diego. It started raining. Oh, not that gentle nice rain, but coming in hard and icy cold. I took it as a challenge and completed my four mile walk. Not another soul in sight. So racist of me.

So when I got to the half way point I decided the icy driving rain was too bad and turned back. Tee heee!! TBH, it was fascinating to see the ocean in a storm. In Florida I actually went swimming when there was a storm warning. The park ranger walked out to let me know and ordered me out of the water. If he had just advised me of the danger I would have listened. I told him I can swim if I want, it's my right. He shrugged and walked off. Half an hour later I was fighting my way to shore. It wasn't bad enough to scare me but not fun trying to swim. Not the idyllic carefree swim I had in mind.
