We are something, we appear to be form within flow, that's a map, is it reality, ehh close enough. And if that close enough lets you successfully interact with reality it's a good map, no? And if the map no longer serves you or it hinders your ability to interact with reality the map either changes or gets discarded. As long as your map, your delusion, lets you interact with reality in a meaningful way it is a good map. First you have to have faith in that reality you make maps of with your brain. Once you have that, you have a foundation that's unshakable, you can build as tall as you want as long as your foundation is reality. That's why the tower of babble fell, it wasn't built on the foundation of god, of ultimate reality, but the map being mistaken as reality.
What you're thing about within your brain are "word" based definitions of reality; which implies you already consented to believe (have faith) in those who offered you the words that define your reality.
Now you're getting to filling in blanks and incorrectly like a bad ad-lib. When you tell people what things are, are you not defining them and thus negating flow? When you refer to things as an appearance, then isn't that more accurate within the concept of flow?
Water can adapt to any form, you put water into a cup it becomes the cup, you rotate the cup but the water is still, but flowing and adapting to the shape. That is a good map. Water nourishes all without prejudice, and seeks the lowest place possible.
