Sounds like the left is atheists, wouldn't surprise me, not all atheists are faggots but all faggots are atheists. You know you're dealing with an atheist because the bottom tier arguments come out. Insults, ad-homenims, and straw man fallacies. It's a critical failure of atheists to establish a strong connection with reality. It's due to their coddled lives and lack of any real physical hardship, plus the safety of their basements allows them to live out their delusions. Atheism taken to an extreme is nihilism personified as transexuals.
I used to be an atheist and it's the same thing outlined in the OP. Carefully constructed arguments and carefully constructed worldviews. If I can talk to an atheist willing to approach discourse in good faith, I'm able to at least get him to see eye to eye. They unironically believe there is no rational reason someone would believe in God. And to this day looking back I have no idea how I was so oblivious.
In the Orthodox Christian Church there's a saying, "tell me the God you don't believe in, because I probably don't believe in him either".
