That makes Christianity worse, the government is not all powerful or all knowing, and most of the time has very clear restrictions from just up and smiting the ass of someone who doesn't want to play ball. Even when you factor in the IRS, the worst they do is jail you for not paying into dysgenic policies, God infects you diseases, or brings an enemy army upon you, or makes the earth swallow you up, or blasts you with lightning, or covers you with insects, or starves you to death, or sets you on fire. and of course he chucks you into a torture pit of eternal suffering, or straight up deletes you from existence. So being forced to give to charity by God should be seen as MORE compulsory than being forced to do so by government, not less.
