I recall a few years agot they went and spray painted and chiseled it but the jes have upped security since then. Maybe one day that bulldozer guy will rise from the grave or a suicide trucker will take it out, then well see the hard record of who is paying to keep it up

I doubt explosives would do it, that'd just char it. Maybe some acid dropped from a drone?

If it's limestone then it's highly soluble.

Nelson’s column was granite iirc. The design made it a bit more conducive to explosives tbf, but a bit of fertiliser with some south Armagh elbow grease can achieve quite a lot.

Nelson's column was hollow though, they had it easy. When the army tried to destroy the more solid base they blew in all the windows on the street and it still didn't go down.

It has to be something quick and easy...
