Cool! That sounds awesome. Childhood should have adventure and exploring in it (safely), I think kids today miss out on those experiences.
The positive outlook I have came from my grandmother - she was the oldest of 8 and it was her who told me they would care for each other. She learnt how to cook from a young age and I think just generally grew up and was a responsible person because of it.
I hope to have a big family one day, I think it's also cheaper than people think to have a lot of children (the dreaded hand-me-downs!).
The jew-centric society pushes us to spend-spend-spend. Send every kid to four years of college! Fashion is a constant must! Only the best medical for our precious children!
Don't.
My best friends here home school. Raise chickens. Grow veggies. Two kids so far, and the wife gets to stay at home. It's a dream life as I see it.
