I dont understand people preaching for 10 kids for everyone like some sort of nigger. Raising a child well is more important than raising 4 retards. My cousin has 4 boys and theyre not raising them properly because of the lack of time. Theyd be useless retarded cannon fodder in the past and will be retarded drones in this life.
Over a certain number they should become self sustaining because the older ones help to care for the younger ones.
Thank you for this positive insight. I am one of six. My mother put each child in charge of his next younger sibling. Adults can screw up the life of even a single child from poor parentage, and this includes over-attentive helicopter parenting. We had a few rules and a hell of a lot of freedom to go outside as a pack for long days unsupervised. We learned by doing, by living, and it was fun. We always lived in the country in bayou country. We all swam in the bayous and in the Mississippi River as kids. Nobody drowned, nobody got bit by snakes, nobody got eaten by alligators. And nobody ever did anything outdoors alone. Big families can be great!
Cool! That sounds awesome. Childhood should have adventure and exploring in it (safely), I think kids today miss out on those experiences.
The positive outlook I have came from my grandmother - she was the oldest of 8 and it was her who told me they would care for each other. She learnt how to cook from a young age and I think just generally grew up and was a responsible person because of it.
I hope to have a big family one day, I think it's also cheaper than people think to have a lot of children (the dreaded hand-me-downs!).
Assuming some gap in ages, but if you have them all close together, so that there's not much time in between them, the result is just a bunch of kids.
