There's nothing crazy about having a conspiracy theory. Conspiracies are a settled fact of human existence. It is a specific crime written into the legal code. The USA was founded by a conspiracy, every one of the founding fathers was working together to commit a crime according to the laws of the time. Crack a history book and the pages are littered with conspiracies, from Gavrilo Princep and the Black Hand, to Guy Fawkes & his band, to the Thuggee cult that ran India for centuries, and to Brutus and the Senate stabbing Julius Caesar. The people who denounce conspiracy theorists as a class are only denouncing their political opponents, without exception. Case in point, most of the leftists denouncing pizzagate researchers believed that Trump was being blackmailed by the Russians for having peed on the bed Obama slept in in Moscow.
