Yeesh. I've got to buy 400 sq foot for my project. Dunno if i should hold off or do it now. Feel like as soon as i buy the price will dump.
That’s what I thought in the store. As soon as I got home I changed my mind and now expect it to go up. This sucks bro...
For sure. Im trying to get this construction project completed before everything comes apart at the seams.
Some lumber poaler claimed the price increase is due to lumber mills using the rona as an excuse to operate under capacity to drive up demand. I have no idea if this is true or when it will end but, I'd maybe try to wait. If you need to finish a project, that sucks and I feel for ya. If you have the time, good trees and don't need pressure treated/engineered lumber... it might be worth it at this point to buy one of those gas powered mills and do it yourself.
Buy it now, it’s only going up. Just bought 9 sheets of plywood, was 41$ a sheet last week now it’s 45$
Don’t fuck around with lumber prices
