Someone I know but I'm not really friends with got the vaccine because she and her husband love to travel. They've been on several trips since the vaccine release, both in and out of the US. I spoke to her the other day and she said even though they're vaccinated and they get tested within six hours of the flight, airlines like Delta will still deny them because their test card was too old. I didn't ask what the time needed to prove you're clear was but this sounded like complete insanity. People are willing to do anything to continue pretending the world is normal. I think she's a really nice person but she has no idea that she's contributing to this shit.
