I carry my ccw permit when I drive and I was going to hand it over with my license when I get pulled over. Is this a bad idea?

Unless me or my car is getting searched, it's need to know, and they don't need to know. I'm ccw also, and yes I've been pulled over.

Never need to add tension to a traffic stop where statistically, is where cops get killed.
