Sad to say it's true, always shoot to kill. If you don't there's a really good chance you'll be sitting at the defense table across from the intruder with the jury on his side. That's if you're lucky. If you're unlucky he'll be the states star witness to send you away to big boy prison.
I probably could research this, but I heard conflicting accounts from several different people that the court system may take a different legal stance over a few well placed rounds vs a mag dump. Got any insights on that?
I don't have any stats, but not killing the nigger leaves an open door for interpretation & empathy; likewise, with a mag dump.
Either, "you didn't have to shoot him." Or "You just wanted to murder him." I'd say they're about on par with each other.
Basically, you have to be really good, or really lucky, so train & practice (if you can ever find ammo again).
If you fire the gun, you're going to jail. Whether or not you stay there is up to the prosecutor/jury.

Especially in NJ, where doing the right thing is always and will always be a felony
