You need ID and an extensive background check to work for Delta. I’ve seen them hire people straight out of Africa that barely speak the language. How is a guy living in a mud hut smart enough to get an ID but an American isn’t? The CEO’s need to be hanged with the other traitors.
The ID requirements around airlines are all Federally mandated. Otherwise people wouldn't have put up with that shit, back when it was first put in place.
I know, don't ruin the meme! Lol
Yet HR 1 wants to federalize elections and void state ID laws.
Airlines are masters of discrimination. Price discrimination. Google academic research on this (just don't use google).
There is nothing wrong with price discrimination though.
There is nothing wrong with discrimination so long as the party discriminating bears the full cost and the discriminated party can seek alternatives in a free market.
The world we live in is full of subsidized discrimination required by law or policy with alternatives driven from the market.
Fun fact. Technically you do not need a passport to leave the country. You need one to reenter. International flight companies verify that you have a passport before letting you board an international flight voluntarily with no requirement to do so.
Probably a good idea.
