True, but the body would have to spend weeks or even months under that stress in order to adapt... so I guess I get what you mean. I remember hearing something about village people that live in mountainous areas having longer life spans too, though I can’t recall the source. Regardless, old people are usually fat and unhealthy, so wearing a mask while exercising in that condition is basically suicide.
