Yeah. Sounds a lot like my mom. My dad is significantly more reasonable, but basically can't be bothered anymore. He was really good at playing interference with her shenanigans when I was younger though,

Half correct. She got the experimental gene therapy, but he refused. I spent, like, an hour on the phone trying to convince her not to. Tried to get pops in on it and he just sighed "Your mother does what (s)he wants. I got tired of saying "I told you so" so I stopped telling her so." So the half right is that she's worn him down for putting her on the right path, but I don't see his behavior changing that much in relation to what she wants.

Moms are a bitch. Mine is anyway. After she killed my father, she came after me. I haven’t spoken to her in seven years. She continues to suck the life and soul out of everyone who volunteereds for it. I quit volunteering. Can’t wait til she croaks so I can not help my retarded younger siblings with the estate. I don’t want any of it. They need it. It will be funny when the day comes.
